St Nicholas Day and the Grant Park Tour of Homes

We were able to celebrate the Feast of St Nichols this year with Vigil Tuesday, and Liturgy Wednesday. After Liturgy on Wednesday, St Nicholas Orthodox Academy's teachers and students joined in a procession to the school with an icon of St Nicholas, given by the Church, in honor of their patron. After the procession there was a celebration of bagels, coffee, juice, and carols at the school.

We were once again honored to participate in the Grant Park Candlelight Tour of Homes. We had many visitors come through the parish, ask questions about Orthodoxy, and enjoy listening to our choir as they sang tradtional Christmas carols!
