to Saint John, the Wonderworker of Shanghai & San Francisco, is available

in English. The release of this publication in English marks theTenth

Anniversary of Saint John's glorification in 1994.

The Service & Akathist is printed in 4-color on fine stock, with a number

of icons of Saint John (see the enclosed JPEG's). This publication is not

only meant for liturgical usage, but also for personal devotion, especially

the Akathist.

Almost all the pilgrims who come to venerate and pray before St. John's

relics at the Holy Virgin Cathedral in San Francisco inquire about the

Service or Akathist. Up to now it has only been available in Church

Slavonic. The new English edition will fill a much needed void in the

veneration of one of the XX century's greatest saints.
